Cabinet Secretary for sports honorable Ababu Namwamba has been talk of the town after he was attacked by Senator of Nandi Samson Cherargei for being incompetent in his position. In his argument, the Cabinet secretary must be summoned in Parliament to avert disastrous mismanagement of Kenyan sports. Earlier, the same leader was attacked by majority leader Kimani Ichung'wah who said that the leader is doing too little in the docket and mockingly reminded the CS his duties.
However, a blogger Alinur Muhammed, strongly opposed the attack tying it to politics. 'I have noticed UDA MPs are attacking Luhya Nation Kingpin Sports Cabinet Secretary (CS) Ababu Namwamba because of his tribe and because he is doing a good job in the ministry. ' He wrote.
Therefore he called upon prime cabinet Secretary honorable Musalia Mudavadi and speaker of national Assembly Moses Wetangula to come out and defend their fellow Luhya from the threats and intimidation. The blogger further wondered why the critics have never attacked CS Moses Kuria who has been incompetent in his docket not once or because he is a Mount Kenya leader, he added.
