The RNB star, Usher delivered a career-spanning performance during the Super Bowl halftime performance complete with shirtless crooning, roller skates, high-energy dancing, and appearances from Alicia Keys, Ludacris, Lil John, and Will.i.am, and H.E.R. mesmerizing the stadium.
Dressed in all white and surrounded by a swarm of dancers, Usher emerged on the stage at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas during the Super Bowl halftime performance and launched straight into his best-known song, 'Caught Up'.
'Caught Up' kicked off the singer's dynamic performance, who took advantage of his dancing skills and a sizeable back catalog to ensnare and thrill the audience.
Before the show, Usher had admitted it had been a challenge for him to fit his 30-year career into thirteen minutes. But the singer did an admirable job of cramming in as many of his most recognizable songs as possible. The singer switched effortlessly between his songs; club anthems, and sex jams.
Some of the songs run for a full verse and a chorus while others were just granted a few seconds. Once Usher was a few songs in deep, he took a backseat as his first guest, Alicia Keys appeared wearing a sparkly red outfit and launched into one of her biggest hits, Ain't Got You.
The duo then joined forces to perform their duet my boo, providing one of the sweetest moments in a performance full of reunions.
After the song had drawn to a closer end Alicia was whisked away to welcome the other guests, H.E.R, Will.i.iam, Lil Jon, & Ludacris
One of the most visually striking moments of the night included during Burn, where flames were projected onto the huge circular platform he was performing on and Usher recreating the skating sequence.
All the while usher couldn't stand still as even in his slow jams he couldn't help but jerk his body rhythmically commanding the attention of the stadium.
