Comedian 2Mbili has alleged that he was one of the people that came up with the idea for Citizen TV show 10 over 10.

In an interview with SPM Buzz, 2Mbili was asked why he hadn't been on the shortlist to replace departing host, Willis Raburu.

2 Mbili admitted that he was not actually called to do an interview but he revealed that what many didn't know was that he allegedly had a part to play in the forming of the show.

“Ambacho watu hawajui ni kwamba mimi ndio nilikuwa mmoja wa waanzilishi wa shoo ya 10 over 10 kabla hata haijaanza kwenda hewani. Mimi JB Masanduku na Fish ndio tuliianzisha mwaka 2016. Tulialikwa Royal Media na sisi ndio tulianzisha kabla hata ujio wa Willis Raburu,” 2Mbili said.

He went on to allege that he had been told to wait after they had hatched the idea before they saw Willis launch the show.

“Tuliambiwa tungoje kidogo kidogo tukamuona Willis Raburu akiongoza shoo hiyo. Lakini bado mimi najivunia kwa sababu nimewahi kuwa mmoja wa hiyo shoo ikiwa ni ya awali kabisa,” he said.

The comedian who is also a content creator however praised those nominated to compete for the position left vacant by Raburu a month ago.

“Lakini bado orodha ya wale walioitwa pale mimi badi nawaaminia wanaweza. Mimi sijaona mtu yeyote pale ambaye naweza sema kwamba naweza bishana na yeye. Nimeona kina Obinna, Kamene na wengine lakini namkubali Gudah Man,” 2Mbili said.

We tried contacting Willis Raburu about the allegations but were unsuccessful as by the time of publishing this article he still hadn't responded.
